Today was the first day of Kindergarten. Madison was so excited she was laying in her bed this morning wide eyed and a big smile on her face. She said "today is the day right Mom?" I said it is. She wanted to skip breakfast and get dressed. But I convinced her that she needed breakfast for energy at school. Jacob and I walked her into her class this morning and we listened to a story (Owen) with her teacher Mrs. Milligan. The story was about leaving a blanket behind while going to school. The parents receive a homework assignment. I will blog more about that later. When the story was over Jacob and I gave Madison hugs and kisses. She did so well. She is so grown up! I think it was harder for me! :( She had a great day and met some new friends and some old friends from Pre-K at Clyde Howell.
