We just completed our VBS last week. We have had so much rain here this summer I was afraid we would be inside. However, it did not rain at all last week. So instead, we endured 90 degree temps and high humidity. We also endured hungry mosquito's. It was a very exhausting week but at the same time we enjoyed our role as Tribal Leaders for the Tribe of Joseph. Our tribe consisted of children just completing Kindergarten. This is the first year these kids get to be outside for VBS. It was fun to see them experience the Market Place. The Market Place is set up like it might have been back in Bible times. The kids got to experience the Wood Shop, Jewelry Shop, Banquet Hall, Book Shop, Spice Shop and the Bakery. They also went to Basic Training each night. This was the first year that Jacob was old enough to be apart. He has only been in the nursery the last couple of years while Jason and I were tribal leaders.
