First Grade...Here I come!

Ok, so I think we both had a hard time this morning letting go! I really thought I would hold up better. But I was wrong. Madison was a little hesitant and I worried about her but she pulled through just fine. When I picked her up this afternoon, she was all smiles! She had so much fun she is ready to go back. When we arrived this morning to drop her off parking was a huge problem. I just didn't remember it being that bad last year. Once we parked we walked from what seemed like Egypt to the school and the new Principal was outside greeting all of the students. How awesome is that. Then we went straight to her class and got settled in. Her teacher Mrs. Beauregard was very patient with all of the parents wanting take pictures. As you can see, Madison had work to do right when she arrived. To color a picture and that is one of her favorite things to do. Good luck to all of you who will be sending your Kindergarteners and Pre-K's to school on Wednesday! I will be praying for all of you.
