Add Soccer Coach to Resume

As if I did not have enough on my plate...I am adding Soccer Coach to my resume. That's right! I am officially the coach for the Tiny Tots League at the Y. Jacob's team did not have a coach and I did not have the heart to tell him he could not play after waiting and watching Madison for 2 years play. Madison is playing again this fall and I am impressed with how much she has improved over the last year. They had their first game last Saturday and she did an awesome job. The field is larger this year and the coach is not allowed on the field. So they are doing it themselves. Back to Jacob. His team had a double header on Saturday...yes you read right a double header for 3 year olds does not work well. Especially when the 2nd game is during nap time! They did a great job during the first game at 9am. I was so proud of all of them. Now the second game we had pretty much checked out before it started. We were all so tired. I never realized what kind of a workout I would get coaching. I am on the field with them the entire game helping them go the right direction. And of course playing nicely...which is hard when you think someone is taking your ball away from you. I took my camera in hopes to get some pics of the game...what was I thinking! I only got one picture of Jacob before we left for the game. I hope to have more as the season progresses!
