Windfall!

No I did not win the lottery but it sure felt like it last Friday afternoon. 10 years ago I came back to Oklahoma for a job opportunity. This was my first experience living on my own with no family close by. It was a big step for me. The company I came to work for was a Home Health Company. It was a great opportunity for growth in my career...so I thought. I was only with the company for just over a year and it declared Bankruptcy. The company was bought by another large Home Health Agency and they had very limited job openings. There were some lost wages and accrued vacation time between the buy out. All the employees hired an attorney 10 years ago to represent us for our lost wages. We were told we would probably never see the money owed to us. Well, last Friday afternoon I received a check in the mail for some of the lost wages and vacation time. Jason and I had decided years ago never to expect the money. Needless to say I was very shocked and of course I ran straight to the bank to deposit it! Just when you think all hope is gone...
