Halloween...not so good!

Well, we had so many plans for Halloween and it just was not meant to be for us this year! We have decided to get all of our sickness in early this winter and then coast through the really cold months! At least I am hoping so! Madison is getting over a sinus infection from last weekend. We were planning to go to Story Book Forest on Saturday night but that did not work out because Jacob fell ill on Friday night and was in no condition to be outside. We were also planning to do our trick or treating at church on Sunday night but once again both of the kids were not feeling up to it. I took Jacob to the doctor on Monday because he was still not himself and we found out he had a double ear infection and the start of a sinus infection. I was shocked to hear about the ears because he was not complaining about them and it has been almost 2 years since he has had one. We have already been through tubes and just cleared from the ENT. So we put him on an antibiotic and I thought ok we are good to go. Well not sot. I picked him up from Sonshine School on Tuesday and he was burning up. He ran fever all night Tuesday and Today. So I called the doctor and they wanted to see him ASAP. So I took him in and we got the dreaded news...pneumonia. We had the chest x-ray done this evening and will know the results tomorrow morning. Our Pediatrician is awesome and she went ahead and started him on another stronger antibiotic to help the pneumonia. So needless to say he did not get to trick or treat. But Madison is doing great and she went for him. I did manage to get some pics of Jacob in costume for Sonshine School's party. He did humor me and pose with Madison in her costume. Yes, they were both Pirates this year. I am hoping to get some pics of them together in costume once Jacob gets to feeling better.

Sorry to hear Jacob has been sick! And I'm also sorry that Ashlyn took up most of your Sonshine school picture! She does try to be in the middle of everything! :)

Poor little guy! I hope he is feeling better soon. I know that is scary for you. He can have Quin's candy. We have way too much.
