Pumpkin Patch

The entire First Grade at Madison's school took a field trip to TG's Pumpkin Patch on Monday. It had rained heavily on Sunday night so I was prepared for lots of mud. It was overcast skies and cool temps. Perfect for a pumpkin patch adventure. I had a group of 4 (3 girls and 1 boy). I felt sorry for the boy because he was out numbered for everything. But he was a real trooper and did whatever the girls wanted to do. I love going on Field Trips with Madison's class because then I can see what types of kids she is hanging out with. It is a real eye-opening experience. She has a couple of very sweet girls but there are some not-so-sweet. There was so much to do and little time to do it. We went through a corn maze and came out into the pumpkin patch full of mud. Madison lost one shoe in the mud and I had to come rescue her...I was ok and not too muddy until I went to pull her out. Oh well! :) There was a petting zoo, hay bail play area where they could climb and slide down, tire horse swings, hayride (a little lame if you ask me), and a pumpkin patch to pick your pumpkin (free with admission and not the little kind) you could have as big as you could carry! They also had a class on pumpkins. We learned all about different pumpkins. I found it very interesting...not so sure all the kids enjoyed it as much! Thanks for asking me to come and share the day with you Madison! I love you!
