The Science Museum - aka Omniplex

On Friday we ventured out after a couple of days of couped up cabin fever! I was fighting a head cold and Jason was working. We went to The Science Museum (formerly known as Omniplex). The kids had a blast. This is the first year that Jacob enjoyed more than just the little kids area. Jacob loved the trains. He was truly in heaven watching them go around and around. We finally decided to buy the Season pass and I am glad we did. I see alot of time there this winter and summer. The kids just could not get enough. Jacob loved the water area in the little kids side. He would have stayed there the whole time if we would have let him. Madison is in a boat on a waterbed type mattress so it gives you the feeling like you are actually in a boat on water. They had face painting that the kids did themselves. I bet you can't tell! :) They also had electronic finger painting...I need this at home! Less mess! The kids are sitting up in an escape capsule from a fighter jet I assume. I highly recommend this place as a great indoor activity when boredom sets in at home.

Looks like a lot of fun! We REALLY need to go down there! I've had 4 free passes to go since last years Family Fun night and still have not used them! Let us know the next time you go!
