Jacob, It is so hard to believe you are now 4 years old. It seems like only yesterday I was holding your tiny body in my arms. You are absolutely the most precious boy I know. You love everyone, even if you have never met them. You hug everyone who comes to visit and even when we are at the store you will talk to anyone that will listen to you. It does scare me that you are so friendly with strangers but you are always right by my side when you are talking with them. You have been a true joy to our family. I can't imagine life without you. You wake up with a smile on your face in the morning and always ready to eat immediately. You love to watch Curious George and Super Why in the mornings. You can write your name, you know all the letters of the alphabet, you can count to 40, you can also count down from 20, you cut like a pro, you have from the moment you picked up scissors. You amaze us everyday with your thoughts. You love to go to church and you are always eager to tell us the Bible story you learned in class. You are a pro at the Leap Frog hand held Leapster. You love to play Spiderman and tanks on the Wii. You are always asking us (after you get in trouble) "Do you still love me?" This you have learned from a book we read alot at night. Speaking of reading...you love to be read to and you love to read to me in your own special way. If we miss a week at the Library you are very sad. You are definitely a mama's boy. I look forward to watching you continue to grow as I secretly wish you could remain my little lovebug! I know this birthday has not been what we planned for you. But know that your daddy loves you very much and wishes more than anything that he could hold you right now. He will get better and will make up for the lost time. We love you Lovebug! Happy Birthday Jacob!
