What do you do with very ripe banana's?

Well I use to throw them away...ok Jason usually throws them away because he is grossed out by the site. However, I had this brilliant idea...how about I make Banana Bread? First of all, anyone who knows me knows that I am not a baker...not even remotely interested most of the time. Except when making birthday cakes...I am too cheap to buy store bought cakes. So the fact that I even contemplated this was amazing. Jason was so shocked he did not believe I would actually do it. Well I pulled them out of the trash (Jason had thrown them away while making breakfast on Saturday morning) and I looked up a simple recipe had all of the ingredients needed and baked some bread. It was awesome...if I do say so myself! Everyone loved it. So I guess no more throwing away ripe banana's in this house!

The very ripe banana's...hard to believe something to ugly to look at can turn out so yummy to eat!

The mixing process...because I am not a baker I have to document this momentus ocassion.

Right before going into the oven.

The finished product!

I'm not sure why my captions are not with the picture because they are in html view. Sorry for the confusion!
