Before & After

I'll admit I am a bit of a neat freak. And I have been blessed with a child who is not! Madison went to spend the weekend with Jason's parents. This happens about once a month every other month. Jacob goes the off months. So whenever Madison is gone I do a complete overhaul (and I do mean overhaul) on her room. She keeps everything...no joke EVERYTHING. I on the other hand keep very little. I decided on Sunday afternoon to give up my nap time (I know crazy!) to make this change happen. It has been several months since Madison has been invited to stay with Jason's parents so as you can imagine it has been about 4 months of EVERYTHING crammed into a small room! I actually removed some tubs that she does not play with unless she has guests over to play. They are now stored in the garage for such a time. I do label all tubs with pictures so the kids know where all the toys go when it is time to clean up. It saves of the wasted breathe of "I don't know where this goes Mommy!"


Before, I know it does not look that bad, except that we do have a rule nothing on the floor. Everything has its place!

Yes, after the clean bed! I did change her room around as well. She was extremely excited when she saw it. She has been give strict instructions to keep it clean or the toys will go to someone who will take good care of them. So far she is doing great and she even made her bed this morning without being reminded...I love it!
