Unplugged!

So, being married to an Accountant there some sacrifices we have to make. Late nights at work, working some holidays, and no interest in balancing the checkbook! Ok, the last one was a joke from our first several months of marriage! Anyway, Labor Day is one of those sacrifices we make as accountant families. So, the kids and I took Jason to work this morning and I was determined to find something fun to do. I think I succeeded! I took the kids to Unpluggits. This place is awesome. Especially when it is hot outside but you want the kids to be able to run around and release some energy. This place has crafts galore and a huge indoor play area! Who could ask for more. The kids had a great time expressing themselves through art and I enjoyed sharing that time with them. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. There were a couple of other kids there but for the most part it was quiet. I also had buy one get one free admission so that made it even better! Hope everyone enjoyed some time with family this Labor Day!

Jacob on the indoor play gym.

Jacob enjoying some finger painting. This rarely will happen at home so I was all over it here!

Madison enjoying some finger painting as well.

Jacob cannot pass up train table, even though we do have one at home.

Madison still working on her finger painting project.

Jacob has moved on to hand stamping! He is not sure what to think since this also rarely happens at home.

There you go Jacob just do it on the paper.

Some playdoh time!

On to more painting.

A little game of checkers Mom?

Madison's work of art!

Jacob working on his craft project, a snake.

More color on the snake. Madison made (actually, I ended up finishing the project)some flip flops. No picture...don't know how I missed that.

You have to spend time at the sand table. Mine would bathe in sand if it would get them clean!

A little rock wall climbing.

And last but not least, a little tree house play.
