Sorting Game

Last night while I was frantically cleaning and baking (of which I really don't enjoy doing.) the kids decided to sort their candy. You see, with a peanut allergy you have to go through every piece of candy and check the label. I hate to say there really are very few treats passed out these days that don't contain some peanuts or traces of nuts. The kids were done eating their dinner and I told them they could each have one piece of candy for dessert. I came into the dining room from folding laundry and this is what they were doing! What a great learning tool! This is only 2 trick or treating outings...Friday is the big one!

I didn't know that about the candy and the peanut allergy being so common. Yuck! It's a good thing they're learning how to manage it.
