Storybook Forest 2008

We love the storybook forest! It is an event that is not scary but allows you to trick or treat in the forest. Madison's girl scout troop met on Monday to enjoy an activity outside of our monthly meetings. We all had a great time and it was not crowded. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. This was a first time for our kids. The kids asked us if we could go camping sometime. I am all for it. Jason will need some convincing. It has to be the perfect weather!

Madison with her girl scout troop.

The family around the fire...however they did not get the fire pit in it.

Roasting hot dogs.

More roasting.

Daddy and Jacob with Humpty Dumpty!

Madison with her good friend Samantha...who is in her class at school too!

Walking down the path of the forest.

Mommy and Jacob.

Madison and Jacob with a turkey and pumpkin.

Madison playing some games...bean bag toss.

Big black cat.

Jacob posing with Sleeping Beauty...this one was a little strange...can't tell by the picture.

Jacob collecting candy.

Is this big black spider real?

Had to have tatoos! I will never wash this off Mom! Lovely!

Madison fishing.

Jacob fishing.

How sad...this is the only fishing they have ever done. We need to fix this!

If Mike had ANY idea that your kids had never been fishing he would have fixed that LONG ago. I'll have to tell him!
