Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

As I prepare for this run tomorrow I reflect on the many friends who have been affected by this terrible thing we call cancer. I have not been affected on a family level that I am aware of. However, as we all know Cancer knows no strangers. I could easily be affected or close family members at any time. I write all of this to say I feel honored to run on behalf of everyone who has been affected by this cancer and those I don't know. I hope that some day soon there will be a cure for breast cancer and that no one else will have to suffer. Audrey, Kim and all of the other Christian friends and family, I run this for you all and look forward to a cure some day soon! My thoughts are prayers are with you all during this time. Good luck tomorrow in the race and hope to see many of you there.

Thanks so much Cindy! It truly was an inspiring race. I'll send my Aunt Wanda over to your site. Thanks again!

I found myself choking up a few times in the run because of the music I had chosen for the race on my ipod. It was truly inspiring to me to see all of the survivors and those we keep in our memories. Glad you had such a great time. Look for you next year! :)
