Finally...an American Girl

If you have a daughter chances are you are familiar with the American Girl Dolls. Well, Madison has wanted one for the last 2 years. However, they are pricey and they are special. So I have been putting her off for a couple of years until she was old enough to understand the story behind each of the dolls and appreciate their value. So the time has finally come. Madison won Kit Kitteridge at a silent auction a couple of weeks ago. We paid a fraction of the cost and she is on cloud nine! I wanted to get some pics of Kit before she made her way out of the box.

Madison...proud to say she has an American Girl Doll.

Jacob wanted to be a part of this special moment!

You know, Abby hasn't even asked, so I haven't looked into them. I thought it was a doll to look like your child (like Cabbage Patch Kids in our day). I didn't know they each had a special meaning. That's cool! Congratulations, Madison.
