Micellaneous Church Happenings!

We are so proud of our kids. They are such wonderful Christian examples. Jacob's class is working on memorizing many things in the Bible. He is currently working on the books of the Old Testament. He is doing fantastic. He is also bringing change out of his own allowance for a program in their class called "Change for Change". They are collecting money in their class for I believe the Mexico Mission Trip that goes every March.

Madison was given a challenge in her class this quarter to memorize a list of things. If they memorized them and were able to recite them back to the teacher she would bring them a BIG Cookie as their reward. Well Madison took the challenge and ran with it. She completed the challenge in 6 weeks. The quarters are usually 13 weeks long. We are so proud of her. The work she memorized is listed below.

Psalms 23
Lord's Prayer
10 Commandments
66 Books of the Bible (Both OT and NT in order)
Days of Creation
Beattitudes
12 Apostles
