Regional Food Bank

Madison's Girl Scout Troop did a service project this month. We went to the Regional Food Bank and helped fill boxes, label boxes, and weigh boxes for the kids in the school system who do not get good meals at home on the weekends. They get to take a box home on the weekend and it has food for them to eat for Breakfast and Lunch. The girls did a fantastic job and Jacob got to go help since Jason was working late. My kids really appreciate what they have and we said a prayer for those kids on the way home. What a real eye opener for them.

Madison filling bins with little snack bags of pretzels. These bins will then be used to pack back packs that go home to those eligible students.

Jacob filling bins too!
