Big Boy Bed

Yes, we finally made the official transition to a big boy bed. Jacob had been sporting a toddler bed for about a year. However, there would be mornings I would go in and wake him up and he would be hanging off the side of the bed. So we spent a Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago shopping for the perfect bed. Jason had bunk beds growing up and he wanted Jacob to have them too. So here it is. I do have to say we assembled the two beds in the garage because there was more room and then moved them into the house only to find that they would not clear the hallway to Jacob's room. So we had to take apart the head boards and foot boards and then reasemble them in his room and then mount them. This all took place between the hours of 8pm and 11pm on Saturday night. I was exhausted. We still made it to early service on Sunday! :) We all napped well on Sunday afternoon! Jacob loves the beds and Madison is even sleeping on the top bunk nearly every night.
