Banking for Children

Our bank added a new feature for kids. It is a deposit center for kids. The kids love it and they are always anxious to deposit birthday money or chore money they have earned. The bank had a grand opening last Friday afternoon so I took the kids and they played games, ate ice cream and jumped in the castle. What a great way to support our teaching the importance of saving your money and spend it wisely at home.

That's a great idea! I wish our bank had something like that! Instead, our kids are saving money by filling up a GIANT baby bottle piggy bank! It's hard having it in sight though because they just want to take out money when they want/need it! If it's in a bank...out of sight, out of mind, right?!

I love that! I guess we may have to open the kids an account there. Can you do that without opening an adult account?
